About HOME

HOME is the theme of our work with refugee community leaders, community members, Call & Response artists, and allies. With HOME, we are building a space of leading, of coming together, and of celebrating refugees.

What Does HOME Mean to Us?

Lynden’s refugee community collaborators and Call & Response artists-in-residence chose HOME as the theme of our collaborative work. We shared our words for “home”— knowing that some of these words have multiple meanings; others remain ambiguous, unknown or sacred; and some languages do not have literal words for “home”—and used them to create the HOME image.
